Due to the increasing volume of work and large projects, Frem Group are looking to recruit a Designer.

The role is based at our Northampton BREEAM purpose built Head Office and manufacturing site.

 

Main responsibilities & skills

  • Creating drawing for sales support (Solidworks & AutoCAD)
  • Creating visuals for sales support (Solidworks & StudioMax)
  • Creating production drawing for manufacturing
  • Working on special / bespoke product for existing & future Global clients.
  • Developing future product for Frem Group Global
  • Needs to be a good communicator. Dealing with client, manufacturing and suppliers
  • The ability to absorb a brief and present back design proposals
  • Needs to be able to self-manage several projects simultaneously
  • To work closely with a multi-site design team

 

Creativity is a must, plus a good knowledge of manufacturing.

Oasis Linear provides a stylish, flexible and cost-effective solution. Designed with straight and bold edges and crafted with acoustically absorbent fabric panels as standard, the range has the optional choice for either laminate or veneer exterior for a bold contemporary look. Oasis Soft is an upholstered product range designed to give a softer, homely feel, which provides smart, flexible and adaptable spaces for your every need. The range has been created with soft lines and curves and crafted with acoustically absorbent panels.

The comprehensive choice of options within the Oasis range allows for today’s multi-varied ‘ways of working’. The Phone Booth, for example, provides a quiet, private retreat for solo working with the option to stand or sit. Equipped with acoustically absorbent materials, LED lighting and air circulation, the Phone Booth stands directly on the floor ensuring no trip hazard, quick installation and easy relocation.

For larger collaborative spaces, Oasis offers Duo options for one-to-one private meetings through to larger, Team spaces equipped with AV facilities. The newly launched Architecture links existing Pods and Booths by creating acoustic sections between structures for space efficiency and alternative meeting environments. The modular Oasis Soft Social further creates adaptable, fluid environments that are completely unique to every workspace and is another new member to the Oasis family of products.

Developed in association with an eminent acoustics specialist, the Oasis Collection from Frem Group offers excellent sound absorbency and reduction. In addition, sound reverberation inside each working space is reduced to ensure a comfortable and productive experience.

Designed and manufactured in the UK, all products within the range are free-standing loose furniture and can be reconfigured should requirements change, ensuring these products can keep up with fast moving workplaces.
