A high-end furniture manufacturer based in Dudley, which has worked with the likes of Microsoft, PwC and eBay, has said it is “unlikely” that its 2019 results will show “any significant improvement” outside of the US because of the “uncertainty” around Brexit.
Boss Design, which was established in 1983, designs and makes seats, chairs and pods for workspaces and the hospitality, retail and leisure sectors.
In newly filed accounts for its parent company, Boseco, the group said: “The general uncertainty surrounding the outcome of the Brexit negotiations make it difficult to forecast with any degree of certainty until outcomes become clearer for March 2019 and beyond and it is unlikely that results for 2019 will show any significant improvement upon 2018 outside of the US.”
